Wii: Calling: A bunch of kids run into a secret website, that leads them to be spirited away to random areas of the "Mnemonic Abyss" and deal with the various ghosts there, it uses the Wii microphone to give you random calls from the ghosts (hence the title of the game) It is Japan exclusive, but with some thinkering you can get a translated version running on softmod Wii or emulator. ![]() Most of the time you can only run away (btw its played with Wii Balance board or you can smash the B button with your finger lol) but there is one section where you gotta time your flashlight to stun tall ghosts. Wii: Night of Sacrifice: A group of 5 Japanese friends go to a house in a place "Moon God Ravine", where people used to hold sacrifices, things get weird and japanese ghosts start popping up everywhere. The plot involves a bunch of Americans going to a Japanese "Hanuda Village" and basically getting stuck in an alternate world where the japanese villagers are immortal zombies and other weird shit and other weird things are happening, early in the game one of the characters meets a Japanese girl who may be the key to it all. PS2/PS3: Siren series: while the ps2 games had great atmosphere, they are pretty dam hard, so I would recommend the PS3 "Siren : Blood Curse" reboot (which is a sorts of remake of the first one). PC: Dreadout 1/2: Made a thread about this a few days ago, this is basically a budget, indonesian clone of Fatal Frame, it lacks the polish FF has, and it is really unfair and unbalanced, but at least they tried lol features a ton of different ghosts (or supernatural entities) is based on Shintoism or just Japanese myths in general has an alternative unique method for fighting monsters besides ballistic weapons or running away. ![]() ![]() Now idk what yall would consider makes up "Fatal Frame" but here is what I would: Was wondering if I could get any recommendations from fellow Fatal Frame fans, I recently played the entire series and feel hungry for me lol
